Washington D.C.


What:

• I know it is the capital of the United states. 
• It was named after the first president.
• It has all three of the branches of government there.

When:

• It was founded July 16, 1790.

Where:

• It is located right in the center of the 13 colonies, which is on the East coast.

Why:

• It was built with very elegant structure to impress other countries and their ambassadors.
• Congress needed a place to put the capital.

How:

• It was established by the constitution.
